Scheme Organiser
Dr Rosalind Hastings (Registered Clinical Scientist) is the full-time Scheme Organiser for UK NEQAS for Clinical Cytogenetics. The Organiser is usually available in the office for consultation or enquiries during the week (Monday to Friday 8:00 – 16:00). At other times messages may be left on the answer phone.
The Organiser is assisted by other colleagues drawn from the ranks of practicing senior Clinical Cytogeneticists. Steering Committee members and assessors are usually drawn from the senior grades of the profession. Sterring Committee and assessors appointments are unpaid and run for a fixed term.
Deputy Scheme Organiser
Mr Eddy Maher (Edinburgh) is the Scheme’s Deputy Organiser. The Deputy Organiser advises the Scheme Organiser on the daily running of the Scheme and proof reads reports.

Quality Manager
Bettina Quellhorst-Pawley is the Quality Manager for the Scheme. The Quality Manager is responsible for the Quality Management System including participant feedback, audits and management reviews.

The Assessors are responsible for scrutinising and assessing analytical and interpretive performance in consultation with the Scheme Organiser and Steering Committee
